Untitled n°120 unfolds as a chromatic descent — from the tender warmth of the upper canvas, where corals, pinks and pale yellows gather like the first light of morning, down through the resolute, breathing blue that anchors the lower half. The transition is not sudden: the colours negotiate their meeting through a wide band of turquoise and jade, where warmth and coolness momentarily inhabit the same space.

Each mark is placed with the same curled, deliberate gesture that runs through Ferri's recent series — a small unit of pressure repeated with quiet devotion until the surface becomes a woven field of colour. Nothing here is symbolic; everything is enacted.

The work reads as a slow descent from the visible into the depth — a movement the eye can follow with the calm of one who trusts the descent. It is the artist's most tender image of the passage itself: what comes from above eventually finds its way into the deep, and the deep, in turn, remembers everything it has received.
